What is The Inner Press?
The Inner Press is an iPhone app that lets families, friends, clubs and teams make their own newspaper. Everyone writes short posts with photos. At a set time, the app turns them into an issue with a front page, columns, puzzles and weather.
How much does the app cost?
The Inner Press is free. Inner Press+ unlocks all newspaper styles, keeps photos for good and allows larger circles. For family and friends it costs 49.99 € per year (the first month is free) or 5.99 € per month, for clubs and companies 129.99 € per year (first month free) or 14.99 € per month. A special edition can also be unlocked with a one-time purchase of 9.99 €. One person pays, and everyone in the circle reads along.
Does everyone need an iPhone?
No. On Android or a computer, you can join in the browser: read, write, upload photos, send letters to the editor and vote in polls. The invitation automatically opens the right version. And anyone without a smartphone can get the issue as a PDF or printed out.
Who can read our newspaper?
Only the members of your circle. Until the issue comes out, everyone only sees their own posts; only the editor has the full picture. There are no ads and no tracking.
How often does the newspaper come out?
Weekly, every two weeks or monthly. You choose the day, time and deadline yourselves. Posts submitted after the deadline automatically go into the next issue.
Can I print the newspaper?
Yes. Every issue is available as an A4 PDF. You can print it with AirPrint or share it.
